Mouthpiece Placement Technique
Click here to Save Isolite mouthpiece placement is easy-to-learn. But like any good technique, practice is the key to success. Patient comfort is paramount! Every good professional develops his or her own particular techniques to best perform dental procedures. The creators of Isolite recommend that practitioners employ the following three steps to familiarize themselves with sizing and placing Isolite mouthpieces:
  1. Watch the instructional video about Mouthpiece Sizing and placement on our video page.
  2. Try the mouthpiece on yourself. Familiarize yourself with how the Isolite feels in your own mouth.
  3. Practice on staff before using procedurally. Make sure all of your team members are familiar with sizing and placement. We have "Express Learning" videos that take you through it about 7 minutes.

"I positioned the mouthpiece in my own mouth first and was pleasantly surprised how comfortable the bite block and tongue shield made me feel. After three test patients, I was totally sold. My patients are much more relaxed and I cannot believe how better visibility has decreased procedure time and reduced stress."
